Our Story

Typist was created in 2016 by our founder, Matt McInnis, in collaboration with his colleagues at Centennial College. Since then, Typist has been embraced by faculty across North America, with over 1500 college students actively using the platform (and growing!).

We believe the keyboarding is a critical job skill for college students, and we're building the best keyboarding trainer in the world to help those students build better lives for themselves.
